the week ahead

The week ahead is going to be very exciting but very busy!

I’m in the process of putting together a database - huge job! I’m also starting to get some information together for some articles.

And, the really exciting development is that work on the official made’n’found website is beginning this week - in fact on paper it has already begun! It is going to be exciting, full of great information and it will go a long way to pulling together the wonderful handmade community.

The weekend will bring a visit to Brisbane to the Finders Keepers market and all the gorgeous stalls there - I have only heard wonderful things about it so it’s all very exciting. I’ll also be calling into Nook in Brisbane and looking forward to meeting Michelle from there. Nook looks a delight online, no doubt it will be just as lovely in real life!

Thanks to ALL the amazing people I have met and chatted to over the past few days at teh Etsy meetup, Modish and Sugar and Spice. Thankyou for your support and enthusiasm - I hope made’n’found will be able to give you that support and enthusiasm back ten-fold!

big steps are more dramatic than small steps

so it’s big steps here at made’n’found.

I quit my job this week so I can work on getting made’n’found up and running sooner, bigger and better than I could ever have imagined.

That means that, before the end of 2010:

  • There will be a new, fully functional website!!
  • A trip to the United States for meetings and a learning opportunity, in order to bring the best knowledge and advice back for YOU to utilise…..
  • Significant partnership and sponsorship opportunities will come into force….
  • Trips to major markets in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney to meet stallholders and spread the made’n’found love….

and hopefully much, much more.

At this stage I am running made’n’found without an income so I hope that, if you like what we do, you might consider supporting us in a small way - it helps to pay for websites, promotional materials and the like….

In terms of articles and interviews, of course I have LOTS of ideas but I really do wecome and encourage feedback on what sort of information YOU would find useful. After all, made’n’found is about helping YOU find success and support in your business.

Finally, thankyou to those who’ve hit the LIKE button on Facebook, please tell your friends! And don’t forget we Twitter too!
