Wrap Up: Finders Keepers Brisbane

The Finders Keepers Market in Brisbane last weekend was incredible - in fact I can truthfully say it is one of the most impressive markets I have seen. Huge congratulations to Sarah and Holly and the team - you have a brilliant market on your hands!!

It was so difficult to not purchase something from every stall - I can truthfully say that every single stall was outstanding and represented the best handmade available in this country. If I’d had room (and enough spare cash) I would have gone a bit nuts! However - I wasn’t able to completely resist…

I bought this fabulous print from Almond Tree Frames - Angeline is a Victorian artist who made the trip north! I couldn’t say no to such a lovely, affirming print. The frame is from Ikea and really makes it look brilliant.

Another print (yet to be framed) is from Bespoke Letterpress Boutique, a Brisbane artisan whose stall was busy ALL day. I simply had to have this print - the photo does not do justice to the embossing detail and beauty of it.

My husband wants it on the wall of our room and I think I’ll do just that!

There was much excitement on my part to meet the lovelies from Leeloo - these girls have been very enthusiastic about made’n’found which I appreciate! I bought some bits and bobs there - this necklace from Morphologica which I have been eyeing off online…

and these Zines…

(Thaw features the art of Lauren Carney….an interview with Lauren is on it’s way soon!)

And this little goodie purse from Only Midge…..love this Miranda, can’t wait to get around Melbourne with it!

and finally, picked these up from Sarah at Find Me, Keep Me (yep, that’s the wonderful Sarah Thornton from Finders Keepers!) - she sells items that are a collaboration from a number of artists! How cute are they?

So I didn’t exactly come home empty handed….. but I really could have gone NUTS!! Would love to hear from stall holders I met - I’d love to feature YOUR goodness too!!
